That Pacific looks great Bob and the boiler taper is a thing of beauty. Long way from a doorstop, but I like them all.

I've noticed a car forum I frequent has been very slow as well. Might be the weather, as we should be having early fall temps by now, but seems we're still languishing in summer weather. Yeah, that is an interesting car for sure. I remember seeing lots of the H&P kits at shows even decades ago, but that load is amazing. Subtle weathering just makes it come alive. The detail and clean castings make it look like it would spin and function. Nice!

Wow, &195-200 for a RTR loco. That would be hard to explain to the wife. It was a rich man's hobby if you couldn't fabricate your own models.

I've seen bronze bearing but had no idea they were so hard. Obvioulsy bronze swords and weapons from the Bronze age were a lot tougher than I ever knew or gave them credit for.
