Ultrasonic Cleaner For Lionel Tubular Track

Does anyone have experience cleaning dirty, somewhat rusty Lionel tubular track with an untrasonic cleaner? I figure if anyone has used one it would be you guys. I'm wondering if the paper board insulators would disintegrate. Any recommendations to offer on the subject would be appreciated.

Re: Figure painting

Rufus, beautiful Witches of Eastwich figures and paint job!

Healey, are you painting figures from Marx playsets? I have some Civil War figures that I'm going to paint an I'm curious about how you're going to go about it.

Just how many scale-size railroad men would it take to change that light bulb?

Re: Figure painting

Whoa! Have you guys seen this? I'm not sure it belongs in this model train forum but sometimes miniature figures and AI are addressed. I know there's been critical discussion about the use of AI. I'm not a big proponent of it myself but I like this application. The music is appropriate like somethin...

Re: Live Steam

There's a live steam club about an hour from me. One of the members built his own coal-fired steam locomotive. He thought it was messy and took too long to fire up so he converted it to propane, concealing the tank in a box car behind the tender.
