Turns out it was done on a computer. Good old Dan kept insisting that what was in the letter was real even though the letter was fake. In the end it cost Dan his job/

On what other model railroad or train forum could the stuff we cover on MTJ go on?
Maybe a little on a few but I don't think there is another where this could go to the extent that some of our conversations go.

I would offer the observation that the success of this venue goes to a matter of trust. We trust that most of our interpretations of each other's statements are not too far from what was intended by each author, and we trust in the good sense that is usually expressed. Some of the toilet humor gets a bit sophomoric and low-class, at times, in my opinion, but we usually clean it up soon enough and draw limits, seemingly, in a reasonable amount of time> Eh?

I look forward to most of the conversations and consider the wide variety of experiences and occupations to be a significant plus among us.
