Nomi was a back-up singer for Bowie on an SNL performance and was a contemporary of Devo - some of us remember the 70's and 80's and performance art. Sadly, Klaus died in 1983.

No, but I did watch the movie "Straight outta Compton" Found it interesting how they all became multi-millionaires.

Eazy-E was the only person in the group to die. He died from full blown aids 2 weeks after he was diagnosed with it. Some think he was killed as he was not a homosexual and the only woman he was with for several years did not have aids.

Hardly a new one - been there for as long as I've been alive and a lot longer; fentanyl has been around a long time and it seems to be not a drug of choice but one that's being added seemingly unknown to users by suppliers. Pharma also has a lot to answer for regarding subscription drugs being supplied in amounts that exceed anything close to realistic possible use.

Pile on alcohol use too while you're at it.

But none of this is even remotely limited to the music industry by a long shot; tiny minority, at best.
