The latest in the media polls is now showing Biden pulling well ahead of Sanders and there is a lot of conversation that both Biden and Sanders should select a woman as a running mate. That way if something happened to the old white guys the democrats would have a woman president.

You might remember that Trump is 73 and the very definition of an old white guy.

So if having a woman for president is so important to democrats, why didn’t democratic women turn out for the women candidates? With all the so-called enthusiasm of the anti-trump women, it certainly didn’t translate into votes.

Nothing wrong with a woman as being VP running mate.

Maybe the country is more ready this time? I'm not sure it is.

He is right when he says you don't need 30 rounds when hunting. You will find that hunting regulations in most all states limit you to 5 rounds. Shotguns is 3 rounds. When it comes to the AR15 there are 5 and 10 round magazines available for hunters that use then. In my state I know several people that us ARs to hunt with.

ARs being a modular design can be set up to fire different calibers than the 223/556 such as the 300 blackout. Has about the same power as a 30/30. Makes an excellent deer rifle. And feral hogs.

I'm happy to ban semi-automatic pistols, if that's what you are suggesting, and for that matter, restrict ownership of all hand guns, since they are not required for maintenance of militia. I'm happy to allow members of the local militia to own weapons needed for membership in those community groups. Individuals who just like guns, not so much. In addition I'd like to continue to ban individual (non-militia) ownership of all automatic weapons, land mines, tanks, nuclear weapons and maybe even pointy sticks . I don't know about you Neil but the last thing I would want to do at my age is to take some young auto worker outside and try to kick his behind.. I'm not sure medicare would cover my hospital stay.
