I'd love to hear when you approximate that decline to have markedly begun: Eve and her "apple"? Cain? the first efforts at Babel? Calvary? The martyrs in the Coliseum? the Anti-popes? The Crusades? European immigrant treatment of Native Americans? The Middle Passage? The Scarlet Letter? Auschwitz?

How is it exploitation? Don't the women dangle themselves at their own volition? Are they forced to become the Centerfold?
There used to be a Playboy Club just-off 5th Avenue in NYC, on the Upper Eastside. Had you ever been there? If you had, you would have possibly observed that the women on self-display were not traumatized. They were gleeful and relaxed, at play, as they pranced and bobbalinked around the entire main floor.

I cant explain Why. Countless numbers of women fell Hugh exploited them. They did a job and got paid. He earned money also. Maybe that is where the feeling of exploitation comes in. The irony is these women will show their hoochie couchie for free on instgram and that’s empowering

A true starting point for actual understanding.

TikTok

The Chinese and the Russians know that social media is an addiction to the self esteem educated, never failed generations that go off chasing the next viral video. They have lost the ability of independent thought and follow the group think they assume is their reality. The Chinese and Russians exploit it on a daily basis.

The Chinese government has control of tiktok. It is heavily censored. Any uploaded video that is critical of china is censored. A video that is uploaded that is critical is only viewed by the person that uploaded it.Others can see it. That's how they censor it

But
As Microsoft considers a buyout of social media app TikTok, officials from the big tech company and well as executives representing TikTok have been in discussions with the White House to prevent the Trump administration from issuing a complete ban of the app,

Those discussions come as President Trump is poised to issue an order that could ban the app from being used in the U.S. over security concerns or allow a U.S.-based company to buy the outfit, pending a security review. A decision is expected either Monday or Tuesday,

Confirming talks between CEO Satya Nadella and Trump, Microsoft said Sunday it is prepared to continue discussions to purchase TikTok's U.S. operations until Sept. 15.

"Microsoft fully appreciates the importance of addressing the President's concerns," the company said in a statement. "It is committed to acquiring TikTok subject to a complete security review and providing proper economic benefits to the United States, including the United States Treasury."

Microsoft has not made a final decision on buying TikTok's U.S. business, and even with a green light from the White House, it could still walk away, these people add. People close to TikTok say other potential U.S. suitors exist.

Sadly, that would include all generations........of all levels of education.

If others can see it, how is that censored? BTW, Tumblr does the exact same thing except when they censor a blog, only the poster can see it others can not see it.

Bee following this as one really has to wonder why MS wants to jump into this area at all - there does appear to be a US subsidiary of TikTok and as I understand it, that is what MS is looking to buy.

Really curious how they think they can actually enforce such a ban from those that want to do the work around. Took my son about 3 sec to tellme how you do it if anyone wanted to do such a thing.

I take that as a rhetorical question as you know the answer. Working closer to government than many of us, you know it always takes them way longer to do anything. Government inefficiency never changes.

MS missed the boat years ago when they didn't buy YouTube and Google did. Big money maker with ad revenue TikTok is a video platform like YouTube, Someone will always come up with something better than the last latest and greatest. All the big tech companies can falter and go down the drain at any time.

Of the 4 big tech that congress is investigating. 2 have a physical product to sell. They other 2 sell people information.

It wasn't too many years ago that Sears and Montgomery Wards were the big dogs. Then Walmart came along and now it's Amazon.

No, I don't know how they can do it other than to demand every ISP block it, and that will cut a good number off, but it's hardly everyone.

More like, let's announce and do something that we have no idea how to really do.....Gov't been doing that forever.

'Benadryl challenge' is a dangerous and deadly fad on social media: medical experts
'Such a challenge is inherently dangerous and can be fatal'
https://www.foxnews.com/health/benadryl ... cial-media

The “Benadryl challenge” is a dangerous social media fad on the app TikTok that led to the death of a 15-year-old Oklahoma teen last week, and the hospitalization of at least three Texas teenagers in May, according to multiple reports

The deadly challenge coaxes participants to take several doses of the over-the-counter antihistamine drug diphenhydramine (Benadryl) to the point that the person trips out or hallucinates.

“I would say that the Benadryl challenge may look fun, but it could be deadly. The Benadryl challenge is dangerous and potentially lethal," Dr. Adam Berman, an emergency medicine physician and toxicologist at Northwell Health/ Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York told Fox News.

Guess it's another Darwinistic event.
