I can actually relate to this more ............

I was blithely dancing along at the reception, double-pirouetting into one of my signature leaning-back moves when I flopped like a dead flounder onto the floor.

No real dance skills except for that slow stuff stuff was found in me and even that's gpne now.

Admiration for those that can and do what Tramp describes.

Believe me, he didn't actually retire either. I've danced with him at weddings, birthdays, New Year's Eves over the past few years. Haven't seen the dead flounder. More like a combination of an octopus, a sea dragon, and a sting ray.
