There are several people that I have "met" on this forum and have met in person.There are more that I would like to meet in person.There are some that I do not even know where they live or their real names.The greatest drawback,IMHO,to having internet friends is that you seldom meet them.Hmmmm.That might be good.We might hate each other.Also it would be very nice,again IMHO,to meet with ones on special days such as birthdays.
If I was younger and had a lot more money I would not hesitate to travel around the country to meet many of you.
I came and stayed with MTJ because I got answers and no ridicule for the questions I asked.I also feel that there is a bond of friendship amongst members here that does not seem apparent,at least to me,on other forums.Just as in a real Hobo Jungle.
Sometimes I just have to ramble.

We MIGHT hate each other in person but I'd be disappointed in us if we did. Its neither possible nor desirable that we should all share each others views on every possible topic and wisdom comes from recognizing this and concentrating on each others virtues - as we see it.

I have been looking for a Latrodectus to photograph for years. By luck, I noticed this one this evening. It was too busy to notice me taking this picture, but when I tried to
photograph its side markings, it saw me and ran. Maybe it will come back later and we can have another photo session.

Gotta agree. I tried a sentence like the first one once and got my composition marked up for a run-on-sentence. My teacher did not appreciate the "stream of consciousness" style.
