Facebook is a multi-million dollar corp that's only product is advertising. Facebook uses everything about the people and sells it to the advertisers so they can target their ads towards those people.

And according to the indictment it said it had no affect on the election.

No country on earth meddles in other countries elections more that the US does. The NSA got hacked into a year ago and they lost a lot of their hacking tools they developed. What do you think those hacking tools were used for ? They are used to hack into other countries governments.

Thought is multi-billion; million is small potatoes. Again, every site uses targeted advertising - anyone that is not aware of that is simply dim as a member of the routine herd of sheep

You may have left out the word "outcome" - that it have not affect is different.

I don't know if that's true and I'm not sure how you would know that either -- the US tends to be sloppy and somewhat inept at times revealing its involvement. Does not equate to being the most.

Unless that happened again, that took place more than a year ago - and some of those tools took down the Iranian nuclear program for quite a while. Every Gov't has their own set of tools and all use them - accepting that is a good place to start.
