Aren't there a subway car for President F.D. Roosevelt and his open-limo still stored under the Waldorf Astoria, in a secret subway tunnel spur, to this day, or do you suppose that is just an urban legend?

Also, I took the 103-question History Quiz (the one identified with Carl Sagan's picture) on that website and got a score of 98 o/o, declared as a
"History PhD", having missed only two questions.

I heard it was a regular railroad siding, and it's on a special level of Grand Central Terminal. And, don't you mean "Isn't"?

Absolutely not. Here's why:
The reason for the aren't:
Subject-verb agreement.

That is, when we have a compound subject (in this case, the RR car and the limo), joined by "and"...
,,,we need a plural ( are/are not/aren't) verb.

A convenient method to use when wondering which verb to use, a singular or a plural verb, try turning the Interrogative sentence around to read as a Declarative sentence, ;like this:
A private railroad car and a limousine are hidden in a tunnel.
or
A private railroad car and a limousine are not hidden..

(Neat, right? No charge. )

I remember a museum at Kingston, NY. on the west side of the Hudson River that had, I think, some NYC subway cars and some trolley cars.
They also had a gas powered railcar (McKeen?) that had been used at the Remington Arms factory. When I was there it was being used for a ride along the waterfront.
