Re: Miracles
Just in time, too!
Re: Miracles
Took me a minute to figure that one out. I think I was distracted.

One can only speculate that it was enough,
If someone throws a stone at you, throw a flower at them. Remember to throw the flower pot with it.

Maybe it depends on what one is accustomed to seeing.

You are right. I'm not used to seeing those blind Jewish guys around my neck of the woods. But I do know where to find those Hillbilly country girls......

Women do not have the problem you are speculating about, Murph.

Men, on the otherhand...

Just four guys on their way to work.
I wonder what their jobs are?

Re: Miracles
Could have gone all day without the bottom photo Wayne.
But, I guess you were just being politically correct and giving equal exposure.

Some things are beyond words, and I have tried all day to come up with something sufficiently smartazzed to say about that bottom photo of the perky quartet, but cannot think of a thing sufficient. I'll leave that to my betters when it comes to such shenanigans. Rufus? Roy?

Re: Miracles
Desperate
Liberated
After further thought about those two pictures, with no intention whatsoever of being smartalek negative, I would suggest there is a difference between appearing desperate for attention, and making a statement that you are liberating yourself, somewhat, from convention. The men appear to be giving a nod to the conventional by what they have on above their waists, and making a statement about self-liberation and individualism by their below-the-beltline presentation of self.
Clearly, they want to make an impact. The contrasts between their two halves does that.
If I were an employer looking to hire somebody new, I'd consider each of them, as much as any other applicant , depending on the job.
If they were students coming to a classroom, I'd depend on the rules of the school; however, their being dressed like that wouldn't faze me, provided it did not become a sustained distraction to academics.

Yesterday. I did a pickup @ Bloomsburg university. Murph, most of the female students dressed for a casting couch. Apparently freedom of speech means freedom to show.
I spend entirely too many hours a day tying my shoes

Yet, I think that woman, though "liberated," somewhat, seems desperate, to me, and not giving enough credit to her lovely face and poised bearing to make it clear she has much to offer. There seems something "urgent" about that much personal flesh on display. It seems like she might be expecting some sort of payment upfront (pun intended.)
Re: Miracles
Yet, they are all ready to "Scream" sexual harassment or abuse if someone says anything to them. Women today have way too much power at their disposal and will be playing this "harassment card" whenever it suites their fancy.
