Alexander Bakelite sides ? Or some modern plastic sided thing?

Hello passenger car experts
I humbling come before you seeking knowledge about a car in the lot from the Seacrest auction that contained the Alexander cast aluminum side cars.
Unknown how Stout choose to gather this lot of cars together but I'm very grateful they did as it has some unique (to me ) cars.

Lovely passenger with full interior , nicely detailed trucks, only fault is someone replaced the old couplers with kadee and used screws 1" long ... creating a serious heath risk for passengers navigating from car to car with huge spikes through the floor .
The sides are some Bakelite / plastic material nicely detailed , also same material used as covers on some of the under carriage detail sprucing up the wood blocks .

Alexander 1937 catalog lists assorted cars with Bakelite sides ...
When one mentions a Bakelite car ... Lionel Madison cars pop into mind ... the sides are much narrower than the Lionel coaches .. the sides are glued / nailed on to conventional wood build construction.

Has anyone seen an Alexander Bakelite sided car ?
So possibly Alexander ? Or did some out there offer cars with a plastic type side ?

Those are very nicely cast hinges and added grabs on the battery boxes. Definitely a great find for a heavyweight fan. I like that the underbody details are not the "lacy" PSC-type brass details (no fault of the manufacturer, brass remains the undisputed scale detail champ) but these are a bit more massive. Conveys the feel of a Pullman heavyweight "mastondon of the rails", if you know what I mean...
