If you would like insurance let me know after auction. Any seller that ships without insurance is a fool.

Had that happen to me once. 3rd Rail PRR I-1. Packed in the original soft yellow foam that provided no protection at all. Gary (I miss him) at 3rd Rail sent it off to a specialist somewhere and got it fixed. Cost me though :x

Whatever, the photos are so poorly lit that it is hard to see anything clearly.

Doesn't the liability for damage shift to the recipient when the item is handed to the shipper? I shall go check.

Looks bent forward at the top of the cab to me for sure. Not a real easy fix without damaging the finish. Sad!

Insurance doesn't cover poor/improper packaging.

Go to the link I posted. Plenty of photos. He’s selling it in that condition and he’s not sure it’s damaged!

Ugh. Its 3 rail. Owner probably chucked it across the room since the pilot would swing and snag on the O27 turnout lamp. Please troll the 2 rail listings at least.

As a seller I insure everything I ship That $4-5 saves me so much . It’s figured into everything I sell. I sell things with free shipping.
