OpenAI said Tuesday it is launching an artificial intelligence-powered website browser, heightening the company's competition with Google, the Alphabet-owned unit that has long dominated online search.

The new browser, called ChatGPT Atlas, is for now only available on Apple laptops that run the company's Mac operating system. Access will soon expand to Apple's iOS, Microsoft Windows and Google's Android platforms, OpenAI said.

My wife uses https://duckduckgo.com/
Her reason is different than what we are discussing here. She did not like the way Google kept a record of her every search and then plagued her with advertising based on her searches.
I just tried duckduckgo to search for G32 lettering. Here are the results:
1st, images to view lettering on the prototype.

That seems to have worked! I got the history of the G32 gondola, plus images of sides and ends.

Second duckduckgo search to find O Scale decals for the G32.
Image
It just gave me the decal vendors, not a direct link to O Scale G35 decals.
But that is a whole lot closer than Google AI gets, in my experience with it.

K4 has O Scale decals for the G32.

That was a rather pleasant search. It did not take too long to find Pennsylvania RR decals, and as a bonus, I found Southern Railroad decals at K4. :D
This was my first time using duckduckgo. I was impressed by how easily I found lettering for a G32.

Perfect! Blame AI for being lazy and dumb.

Too late. 60% of the country reads at a 6th grade level now. The reliance on devices, etc. is producing a population of sheep.
