Murph man, some have little propane gas heaters in them and some don't. The ones that don't have heaters they just wrap up in a heavy wool blanket to keep warm. And if ya got the lady ridin' with ya well hell...........ya don't need no heater. I'll let ya figure that one out..........................

As far as the horses the cold don't bother them that much. They like this kind of weather. If they park for a while at a store they will throw a heavy horse blanket over there body..................

God designed horses for sweltering hot and freezing cold grass lands. They sweat like we do to keep cool and have horse hide and fur to keep warm. The design seems to work quite well.

As the old saying goes....It's snowing down south. But this time it's not in reference to a woman's slip hanging below the hem line of her dress! Cheers!

It's snowin' here in The Dutch Country.

I miss global warming... can hardly wait for Spring when it returns. I am not made with horse hide and fur.

Yes they have there own Thomas and its a Porter 0-6-0 that they built at their own shop. They also send it out to other railroads that wish to sponsor a "Day out with Thomas". I think they have a gold mine there too.
