Daisy, Your mention of 'Down East' reminds me of a trip I took up to South Casco (Norm Pullen's). A good friend from Massachusetts went along for the ride and on the way back going down the touristy, highly commercialized Route 1, he made the comment that, any true Down Easter claimed everything to the South was part of Northern New Hampshire! :mrgreen:
I still chuckle every time I think of that!

Yes, some kind of sceech owl. I photo shopped it into the saguaro just to make the image more interesting.

hey Roger, My trains are under that tree (under its floor) and under the entire rest of the house, except for the garage. :D I'm a train-nut, I realize. :P

Great tree - our trains are ABOVE our tree, a couple floors up. Too cold up there this time of year to do much but imagine them sitting there on their tracks waiting for spring. Wayne, I love how you always remind me of the beautiful desert, I can never see enough of your desert photos.

Thanks to all hobos who sent cards and good wishes, Hev, I loved your train photo!

The cool thing is that now I get to just sit here in front of our tree for a week doing nothing. Ah. My favorite. Especially since Tramp's sitting right here with me doing nothing too.

1. Rich, yes by "doing nothing" I basically mean drinking.

2. Marty, yes Tramp almost burned a black hole into the chest center of his new sweater. See 1. above.
