San, Thanks for the tip on the Hydrangeas. I'm looking for some nice plants to put in the garden rr. :D
The "tree version" would probably screw up my beer can wind chimes.

The SIOJ (TM) is awesome, Jon. Hilda, the former East German Olympic shot put champion put it to good use during the interogations. You may have it back; the shame was so profound that it did not need to be unsheathed.

Received the 2005 Lionel Volume 2 catalog in the mail today, courtesy of the Train Station. Regardless of what one thinks of the offerings or manufacturer loyalty, I find flipping through the color illustrations of a catalog with some heft to it pleasurable.

San, Glad to assist!! :D
I also find that flipping through any manufacturers new train catalog akin to undressing the girl of my dreams, no matter how ugly it turns out!!!

Should I get a shot of the Hydrangeas when the blooms are all out? I have eight trees, which looks rather unusual. They're in their third year. Amazing how different the growing season is here than what's mentioned above.

I too enjoy those fresh heavy catalogs. How do get one besides from your hobby shop? Does Lionel send them free?

Is anyone there? Dennis is here, Dennis is here! And Sandy! Tramp got em drinks and took em down to the cellar. I'm getting more and more nervous as the clock ticks...

Puts me to mind of "The Cask of Amontillado", by Edgar Allan Trampoe:

"THE thousand injuries of Brennanato I had borne as I best could, but when he ventured upon insult I vowed revenge..."

On the other hand, somehow, Dennis made it past all the horny fat women.
Therein lies a story all by itself!

Poor lad must be exhausted.

He had on a tight-fitting parti-striped dress and his head was surmounted by the conical cap and bells.

Sounds like Dennis got into the fat girl suit.

"The Ballastado!" I said.

"He! he! he! -- he! he! he! -- yes, the Ballastado. But is it not getting late? Will not they be awaiting us at the palazzo, the Lady Brennenato and the rest? Let us be gone."

"Yes," I said "let us be gone."

"FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, TRAMP"

"Yes," I said, "for the love of God!"

But to these words I hearkened in vain for a reply. I grew impatient. I called aloud --

"Brennenato!"

No answer. I called again --

"Brennenato!"

No answer still. I thrust a torch through the remaining aperture and let it fall within. There came forth in return only a jingling of the bells. My heart grew sick -- on account of the dampness of the catacombs. I hastened to make an end of my labour. I forced the last stone into its position; I plastered it up. Against the new masonry I reerected the old rampart of bones. For the half of a century no mortal has disturbed them.

In pace requiescat!

Here you can set the masonry that contains the corpse of Brennato:

The bones were replaced in the modern era by Brennato's own chain link fence. So, you can see that this is a true story.
