Original with Clapton, or then with Beck, or then with Beck and Page on bass, or the year or so with Beck and Page on lead, or with Page? That year or so of Beck and Page was the only twin lead period and not a lot of material was produced........before Beck dropped out.

Yes, the Yardbirds were named as one of the 1st twin lead guitar groups, but not harmonizing twin lead guitars (honestly I read that, I can't remember). As they say, "if you remember the 60's in detail you weren't there".

There were so many new groups with new sounds popping out in the 60's and 70's, it was really easy to miss some. Moody Blues was a favorite of mine back in that period. They were the 1st concert I ever attended (1967-68) and someone on the balcony threw out hundreds of joints that showered down on those sitting towards the back on the floor level. In KCMO pot was very underground at this time, but I was a "Straight Arrow Howie" so I could have missed a lot. FM radio was just taking off (one of the 1st in my school to have the FM converter in my car) with new sounds. Otherwise you had to listen to nothing but "Top 40" hits on main stream AM bands. But, this was in the mid-west and I'm sure it was different on the coasts.

Hard to imagine two ever so different in style guitarists as Beck and Page harmonizing at that time,

Yes, somewhen around then I discovered FM, and Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground........and the Stooges.....and, well the list is endless and still growing, And now I have internet radio so I get to hear stuff all day long that I'd never get to hear otherwise - amazing array of diversity - got a live performance of Tubular Bells playing as I type this now.

Yeah, crazy lifestyles, lots of drugs and OD's was the rule of the day for many performers in the 60's and 70's. Used to joke if you cremated Keith Richards the whole town would get high.

So much talent went by the wayside during that period.

Used to listen to several set ups on Pandora, but it got boring with a machine driven algorithm vs. human involved playlists

Used to listen to Live365, but that platform and all the 100's of stations dried up and blew away a few years ago.

You can wander around through the various genre of music and try them until you find what you like.

There are several shows that cycle through on this station, enough variation to keep me interested and enough music that I've never heard that captures my interest, and then enough that's familiar. Adds up pretty nicely at least for me.

Progzilla covers stuff so new as to be unreleased - advance stuff - and back into the 60's - just depends who's show is on and what they have queued up.

Sometimes it's almost country all the way to some pretty heavy prog-metal.

I went to Progzilla yesterday and heard a few songs before I had to leave the office. Heard Beggars Opera sing "Macarthur's Park" and someone else I can't remember now. Can you choose the show you want to hear or is it just the luck of the draw as to what is currently playing?

It's just like an old FM station - they have a bunch of folks that program their own various shows and there is a schedule posted (somewhere?).

I think you can access specific shows via some podcast type of mechanism, but I've never bothered - I'm just generally enjoying the variety and so much stuff that I've never heard before.

I just put it on in the background....and some shows I actively listen to and some I just let play, and there are 1 or 2 that I just shut it down and put on a live concert on Youtube from the list I have saved.
