Brush On Chrome
When I first saw this video I assumed it was fake. I'm told it isn't.
Someone's PA/PB, or even, FM might be a good test.

It doesn't go the exact video, you may have to scroll down a little.

I am a candidate, with a PA almost polished and ready - just have to engrave the radiator grilles a bit.
But your link just goes to New Zealand dirt bikes or something.

If someone throws a stone at you, throw a flower at them. Remember to throw the flower pot with it.

Wow! I think I'm going to paint chrome the bumpers on my car.
Re: Brush On Chrome
You guys are hanging around with the wrong kind of mates. Get out in the garage and play with something fast. Grin!
It's called Easy Chrome, you can get it from ALSACorp in Los Angeles for one. It does need a bespoke mirror-finished basecoat, btw.
Actually, if you listened to the guy you'd know he wasn't from New Zealand, but a Yank. Kinda makes you wonder if this stuff wasn't American in the first place, listening to the guy...

I scrolled down - but not far enough. Found it. Willing to try, as long as it is cheaper than the minimum price for local nickel plating.

Nope. Double the minimum charge for nickel plating.
Re: Brush On Chrome
Scroll down to where it is a $199. for 4oz of chrome, basecoat and a brush. A few of their vids have been making their way across the internet. Motorcycle guys are going crazy over it. At $199 i wont be the one to try and review it. Funny thin is they are out of California. So i would say the paint wont last. It can't have all the good chemicals to make last long outside.
I spend entirely too many hours a day tying my shoes

I would make the conjecture that "Chrome in a Can" with work out just as well as the various "Mechanic in a Can" concoctions have over the years.
