Wow! So peaceful! I'll bet every kid in that town behaved well, too, adding to an atmosphere of peace-and-quiet.

Is that a gas pump, next to the first tree on the left? The place reminds me of Whittier, with it's tree-lined streets.

Don't think so - looks like a pole with signage on it that you can see continue up into the tree - possibly pole for that trolley line running down the middle of the street

They do from that angle, but I can see an overhead wire and out in the middle of the road it may be more open.

I blew up the photo, and now I'm seeing what looks like an old fashioned phone dial and coin return, on what I thought might be a gas pump. Possible?
