Narrow gauge, methinks. Inspiration for the On30 modelers.

Could be. That 2 track main line does look to be a mite wider in gauge than the track where the train is running.

I believe this is the Bradford, Bordell & Kinzua RR. See: https://railroadpostcards.blogspot.com/ ... gauge.html.
George Hilton's book on American narrow gauge should have more info.

Interesting - I posted up one of the BB&K postcards here a long time ago.

Looks like what used to be called a doctor's buggy.

Sure and that's a bit of a little pony out front, too.

I wonder why the faces of what appears to be the two younger guys are blotted out. At first, I thought the slim fellow on the far right had been too young and fidgety to be able to stand still enough for the photo's taking, but when I noticed the obliterated face of the sitting youth in the left grouping, I thought I'd mention my observation.

No idea if that was intentional or if it's just wear & tear........

I was more interested in the equipment in play on the incline.

Well, things have their place, but people interest me a whole lot, too.

And yes, that incline is very interesting.

I was contemplating how one might reasonably model it.

Of course, that would include some serious landscaping, too, to provide the necessity of it.
