President Theodore Roosevelt's statue belongs in front of the Natural History Museum, in NYC, because of what the President as a great man did to help save and preserve the National Parks, with Yosemite and Petrified Forest as most excellent examples .

If the attendant smaller statues offend some, then remove them, or put them on horseback , too, with all the figures looking outward toward the future, for, as President Roosevelt said, "We are not building this nation for (only) a day..."

His having Congress pass legislation, the "Antiquities Act," to protect Mesa Verde, among several such indigenous peoples' historic sites, evidences his respect , as a statesman, for indigenous peoples and their history.

The problem with all this, is that none of it should be done by MOB rule. I don't think any of the statues will depart from their current locations on their own. There is ample time for the MAJORITY to decide.

Any out there that are totally upset with Washington and Jefferson may send me all the currency they have with their images on it, or better yet, send it to some children's charity like St. Judes or the Shriners. Fat chance!

You are forgetting that there is already movement underway to change the pictures on all forms of U.S. currency.
But let's not change the pictures to other people, let's use animals, possibly extinct ones.
We may possibly join them soon.

To much cost in changing money. Think about all the machines accepting cash. Everyone would require new cash readers. Contactless digital payment is the way to go.

Yes, but we've got to get rid of all those nastywhite men on our money and anything that is done will cost money.
Isn't ons to be replaced by a woman in the near future or did that movement fail?

I vote for Groucho Marx on the $20 dollar bill. Say the secret word and a duck flies in your face with a $20 dollar bill with Groucho's picture on it.

Buttar appears to be running a really smart local campaign, while Pelosi is doing dumb stuff like going on James Corden's show and showed off her $25,000 freezer.

I also think Mitch McConnell is going to be in trouble if Charles Booker ends up winning the primary.
