A career criminal with more than 100 arrests to his name was busted for cruelly shoving a 92-year-old woman into a Manhattan fire hydrant — leaving his victim too scared to walk alone in her own neighborhood.

The injured elder, a Bronx native named Geraldine, spoke to The Post on Tuesday after cops arrested convicted sex offender Rashid Brimmage, 31, and charged him with attacking her.

“I thought a brick hit me or something hit me on the left side of my head, and I went right down and hit my head against the hydrant,” Geraldine, who asked that her last name be withheld for safety reasons, said of the attack. “Blood was coming out, not spurting blood, but blood was dripping.”

Geraldine, who has lived in Manhattan for more than 50 years, was on her way to Duane Reade when Brimmage allegedly shoved her to the ground near Third Avenue and East 16th Street in Gramercy Park at about 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Nothing new here. This has been going on for many years. My stepmother grew up in the Bronx in the 1930s-1940s, said it was a 50-50 shot to make it from her apartment building to the subway without being acosted. I suspect the story is similar in every big city. It will probably get worse as the police back off intervention/pursuit in light of the implications of BLM.

I'm sure Rashid is convinced, by his ilk and by himself, that he is the victim. Devoted to his crotch his whole lifetime, he never paid attention in school, had not the slightest bit of empathy, respect, or kindness for others in school with him, never developed any above-crotch skills, and has never produced a single positive benefit out of this life for society. Poor dear. Poor, poor victim.

I'm sorry, when I see that, even at my age, I'd find something to beat him unconscious. If I was under 50, he'd be so f'd up when I was done he'd never do it again. I guess that makes me appear to be a violent person, but I'm not, I've hated bully's all my life. Most when challenged, are the biggest, gutless, chicken sh*ts on the street. Sure, he should be taken off the street, but I'm sure with the serious crimes going on the police and/or court systems don't want to be bothered with petty crime. Maybe if this video goes viral someone will decide to put him in jail.

Today, on the tv show "Hot Bench," (E5 E111) the litigant's name was shown across the bottom of the screen, Justice Love Peace. I suggest that kind of narcissism and egotism is at the root of many problems in this society.

Fortunately , in her summation, Judge Acker described him as shameful, also saying she was "disgusted" by his attitude and actions. Mr. Justice Love Peace has ordered to exit the courtroom. That tells me there is some hope.

Ok, by 9am I've been up at least 2 hours........and if I need the TV, I've got one of the business news stations on since they tend to actually have some meaningful news on and frequently some interesting guests as well.

Aware, but maybe I could suggest that you do better for yourself than "Hot Bench,"............maybe small steps........."Hot Tub Time Machine"....

I on other hand will just have a cup of coffee or tea with my bagel, open the door to the deck to listen to the birds, and read a few chapters of whatever it is I got from the library....before heading into the home office.

I have plenty to do, once I get my motor lubricated and warmed up each morning. I have so many caring cousins-in-law and professional colleague friends that I am as fully occupied as I want and need to be.

I have discovered that there are enough pieces remaining of me that I have been able, these last eighteen months, to begin constructing a slightly new me. I'm not morose about it all; rather, just accepting and learning to build.
