I'm a sucker for free stuff. Isn't that why we buy computers, and pay for the fastest internet service available? 8)

Looking closer into the TOS for Photobucket, it appears that folks with a pay to play Plus 20 account are good through Dec 2018 at the current pricing as long as there were in good standing in June 1 of 2017

While I have a bit of a reprieve, migration elsewhere is in the offing. Might not be a totally bad thing as it will give me an opportunity to re-org and purge files,

People need to get over it and move on to either another service, or just set up their own web hosting account

I just got myself back up to speed, on working Flickr. If you're interested, let me know on the "Photobucket" thread in "Forum Support".

Never ceases to amaze me how many folks consider Facebook vital to their existence. I don't see anything mission-critical happening there. As a non-user perhaps I just don't understand.

I am reliably informed that there are a number of model RR'ing discussion groups hosted there.........and maybe that's where a younger set do gather, but I will pass on that for the foreseeable future.
the groups I subscribe too are well-populated by elderly farts.

Thank you, Robert. I installed the app version for Chrome. Now, who does this help?
Who can see an image here and who sees the "Please update your account to enable 3rd party hosting" message? Or some other thing?
Image
I see my image of an EMD GM10B Number 1976 electric locomotive (hosted on Photobucket.)

I think the image is going to stay for me and anyone else who is using the "Photobucket-fixer" app. I looked around MTJ and found, if the poster's Photobucket image is still on Photobucket, I can see it (before I saw the Photobucket message about updating.) For those Photobucket images that have been removed from Photobucket, I see the word, "Image".

In that case, I won't be posting any Photobucket images.
But it is a big help for me, thank you for the link, Robert.

Another thank you, Robert. I, too, see the GM10B. Somewhere I have a shot that I took at the Orangeville facility in Baltimore, MD. of the other GM electric GM-6C (#1975?) that rode on 3-axle SD type trucks. In fact at first we wondered why Conrail had painted an SD-45 all white! "Why is that thing white?"
