$1T stimulus
Re: $1T stimulus
I think both sides yell fraud every year. Election fraud probably balances out pretty equal across parties. I'm sure many would disagree and say " nope it's the dems that let those people vote. Or the repubs have summer homes and will you 2 addresses !"

And every time the actual number of cases of fraud are strikingly low. Some people can't accept losing, have to make up nonsense, and trumpet it loudly until foolish people believe it - another example of telling the big lie.

Detroit man fraudulently applied for PPP aid, used it to buy Cadillacs, Dodge Charger and Hummer: DOJ
https://www.foxnews.com/us/detroit-man- ... hummer-doj
In an alleged Motor City money grab, a local man is accused of swiping funds from the federal Payroll Protection Program (PPP) -- which is meant to help keep small businesses afloat amid the coronavirus shutdowns -- to buy two Cadillacs, a Dodge Charger and a Hummer, according to federal prosecutors.
At least he bought American

Even better, they caught him.

Something is missing from this story. He had inside help or an advantage over others applying.

Probably true.
Nearly every "news story" that I see or hear tends to be missing critical information but they never expect you to sit and think it through before shoving another set of headlines in your face. All about the "sound bite", targeting the short attention span, firing the outrage and anger, and selling commercial time.

He almost had to have a payroll and told the Fed's he was keeping his employees working or they shouldn't have given it to him. You have to have proof where the money was spent or its not forgiven and becomes a loan you have to pay back. Hopefully one of his employees told on him.
Honestly, the oversight to check up on this kind of money has to be staggering and IMHO he is only the tip of the iceberg.

It's even harder when the WH fires the oversight people. I was watching the business news last night and the Treasury Dept. announced is had sent out all the money, but the numbers did not look anywhere near what was supposed to be in the funding bill. This is going to be another episode of emergency funding like Katrina that just vanishes off the books never to be fully accounted for or found.

Neither of my kids have received anything, and they certainly qualify, being working stiffs with income in the appropriate range. The IRS “Where’s my check?” page says checks still going out until the end of June.

PA's pandemic relief is so full of fraud. They have stopped issuing debit cards and will no longer add to the cash balance. They are returning to cutting biweekly checks. I have yet to have any of my claims processed. First claim was the week of march 20th. I did get issued a USbank card. That is no good now. Zero balance applied to it. My state senator is getting tired of hearing from me. Several times i told him where i live. It is a prime place for a sign stating "What a horrible job he has done." I know he has tried. Sometimes trying is not enough.

Received my Donald Trump check on Friday before Memorial Day. Deposited it in my checking account Sat morning. Sent half of it back to the IRS to pay for my taxes from last year Didn't have to pay them until June. The other half I gave to my youngest granddaughter as a graduation present
She is going to WSU and Graduated in 3 years. Going on to get her masters degree. She has been a straight A student since High School. She was always showing me her report cards At the end of her junior year in high school I asked her if she could maintain a straight A in her senior year. She said that was a piece of cake. Told her I would have a present for her if she did.
She laughs and said what a $20 dollar bill. I said yes, add a couple of zeros to the end. When she Graduated I gave her a check for $3000 dollars. That's for her college education.
